“I was so comfortable in Lucy and Henry’s guest suite. It is an oasis of peace overlooking a wonderful view of fields sloping down towards the sea. Every little detail has been thoughtfully planned with the aim of creating a relaxing environment. I particularly appreciated the fresh bread and fruit provided for breakfast along with my favourite Dorset cereals and orange juice. I felt very safe as a single traveller. The bed and armchairs were very comfortable, the shower was terrific. Lucy welcomed me warmly even though I arrived quite late. I look forward to spending more weekends there in the future. Very convenient for Alnwick and Alnmouth, each only 10 mins away by car. Thank you so much!”

What a lovely, quiet and restful week I had staying with Lucy and Henry! The place is really special and I enjoyed the great views from my room, the good night’s sleep and perfect breakfast. They made sure I wouldn’t miss a thing! It was wonderful to just go down the stairs and practice yoga, either on my own or joining Lucy’s classes. The area is amazing for walking and enjoying the coast. Shilbottle is also easy accessible by public transport from Newcastle and a good base to explore Northumberland by bus. Lucy and Henry also recommended places to visit. I’d love to come back soon…

Since the workshop I’ve made a real effort to let go of the need to keep on ‘rushing around’ and being ‘efficient’ during my period.

I’m resting into my feminine time now, and I’m finding that I feel SO peaceful in the lead up to and during my period, and have had ZERO pain!
